SLR has a long and very proud tradition of of being extremeley well represented when it comes to the Scottish publishing industry's top awards ceremony, the Scottish Magazine Awards run by independent publishing body PPA Scotland.

This year was no different as SLR was shortlisted in four categories! We remain the only magzine in this sector to have won a PPA Awards (we've won two, actually) and that trend looks set to continue.

This year we've been shortlisted in the following four prestigious categories: Business & Professional Magazine of the Year, Business & Professional Editor of the Year, Sales Initiative of the Year and Publisher of the Year.

Publisher Antony Begley commented: "In the years since we started SLR from scratch, we've worked exceptionally hard to establish this magazine and make it stand out from what was already there. I think I can safely say we've achieved that and these nominations once more remind us that we're doing a great job in Scotland.

"Regardless of what happens on the night, to be the only Scottish title in this sector to make it to the shortlisting stage is an achievment that pleases me. And you never know...."
